Just recieved a phone call a few days ago. I am needed in Nepal by the end of the week. Been sorting out travel with the boys at Bootsnall. I am to cover the handing over of a medical gear container from MEDSHARE to clinic Nepal. Will be gone for 3 weeks, just in time for Cheoah Season. So just yesterday I posted my new version of my site, still needs lots of work, but it will work for now. Still having some issues with my projects section, but hopefully that'll be sorted out with streaming video and podcast by tonite. This has all come as a complete surprise. I didn't think I would get a chance to travel this year.

So my mom gave me this book for Christmas." Jack Kerouac in Florida". This guy was my idol in high school, he lived for a short time in Orlando in the back of this little house. He was there when "On the road" was published, which catapulted him into instant celebrity over night, and it was also there a few years later that he wrote "Dharma bums". Two weeks ago I got a chance to I visit his old house, which is now a writers retreat. I used to not believe in auras or anything like that, but I definitely felt something standing there, in the front yard, shooting with my holga, stealing the soul of the place. someone asked me - does the experience make you want to reread his writings? I think for now- No, those belong to a certain time in my life, A moment... I would hate to ruin that feeling 15 years later.

Ran into ole'Big Daddy Sturgis while in Tally this past weekend. It was good catching up with him. And also 3 weeks ago I had a chance to see Jason Graham for a few hours while he was in Jaxsonville. Now back to Bradenton, Fla to read transcriptions and meditate.

just learned of a new group- The Good, the Bad, and the Queens- Damon Albarn(Blur, Gorillaz), Paul Simonon(the Clash), Simon Tong(the Verve), and Tony Allen (Afro-beat world drummer). The two singles sound great.

I spent the last two days photographing a short film for my buddy Jason Piccolo entitled "Paris, MO". a romantic comedy half in french- it was great to use lights again.

Wayah Bald, North Carolina

Will and Sheila were married on tuesday afternoon. It was a really small ceremony. The leaves in the mountains were just beginning to peak, and provided a splendid backdrop for such an amazing event. Both are truly happy, and it was nice to be there to witness the union. Congrats.

Work has been off the hook. Ready for it to all settle down a bit. Work on the film is getting done at a snails pace. Gearing up for Clinic Nepal and Hari Bhandary's return to America. Looks like he will be here at the end of August for a few weeks. I am trying to organize some fundraisers in Atlanta,Ga. Tallahassee,Fla. Charleston, Sc. and Bryson City, NC.
